Description:  The custodian is a member of the custodial/maintenance team tasked with cleaning and maintenance of North Park School. 

Job Summary: The custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the school buildings and grounds.  This may include any of the following responsibilities:

• Vacuuming and mopping
• Disinfecting classrooms, lockers, door handles, equipment, etc. 
• Cleaning and restocking bathrooms
• Taking out trash
• Assisting with maintenance tasks
• Any other task as assigned by the Maintenance Director or Superintendent

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have experience working in teams to accomplish a common goal.  Custodial experience preferred.

We are a small isolated school district that serves around 150 students K-12.  North Park itself is a rural ranching community that values education and hard work. This position is mostly indoors, but may require exiting the building for certain tasks.  The majority of the day will be spent standing, walking, lifting, and carrying objects.  Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.

Contract Terms: The Substitute Custodian/Lunchroom must be available to work throughout the year (52 weeks/260 days) to assist with custodial duties in the buidling.

Salary: The custodian is paid on an hourly basis.  Starting salary is dependent on experience.
