Description: The substitute teacher must be flexible to help take over any classroom Pk-12 either for one day or several days.

 

Job Summary: The most qualified candidate will provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.

 

Qualifications: Applicant must hold a high school diploma or GED and a valid Colorado substitute teaching license.  The ideal applicant will demonstrate competency in the core academic subject area assigned.

Contract Terms: Substitutes are not contracted employees.  They must be available to work with 24 hours notice.

  

Salary: If the substitute currently holds, or has previously held, a teaching certificate, they will be compensated at $130 per day.  Someone who has never obtained a teaching certificate will be compensated at $110 per day.  Substitutes are not eligible for benefits.
