Description: This is a high school assistant co-ed track coaching position. 

 

Job Summary: The assistant coach is responsible for aiding the head coach in planning, directing, and leading an education based athletic program which seeks to develop a strong, safe, and inclusive learning environment.

 

Qualifications: Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, experience in the sport and be able to pass a CBI and FBI background check. Upon hire, the assistant coach must complete the CHSAA 1st Year Coaches Test, Concussion training, Mandatory Reporter training, and First Aid/CPR certification.

 

Working Conditions: The majority of the coaching job will take place outside or in a gym. The assistant coach is expected to attend all practices and games. Travel is required for away games.

Contract Terms: Coaches are contracted for the entire applicable school year and must be able to attend all practices and games during the respective season. 

 

Salary: Coaches are part-time employees not eligible for benefits. The salary is dependent upon position and experience. Salary will not change based on the outcome of games.
